Fizik

Any cycler who is interested in racing or anyone who follows the sport at all will probably have heard of Fizik. This Italian company is closely linked with the sport. Indeed even the name of the company – the phonetic spelling of the word physique embodies the ethos of the company – to represent the speed, freedom and beauty of cycling, particularly when pitting yourself against others in a competitive environment.

Fizik saddles are amongst the products used by leading cyclists competing on the world circuit. Fizik saddles are custom made and use technology designed to fit the shape of the saddle to the user. The company recognises that we are all different including differences in pelvis width and spine shape and curvature. They have therefore developed a series of saddles to suit different spine shapes. These include the Fizik Gobi range. There are four saddles in the Fizik Gobi range.

Fizik shoes are handmade and are designed to be used by professional racers. Fizik shoes in common with all products manufactured by the company are designed to be worn by both men and women. Other products include the Fizik Seatpost which has two models in its range and Fizik Bar Tape which has a range of five different types to choose from. Both models in the Fizik Seatpost range have a clamping mechanism.

The company was founded in 1996 and continues to work with racers to ensure that its products meet their demands. It prides itself on the quality and craftsmanship used and the handmade in Italy label attached to the product range.
