Bike helmets are probably one of the most essential cycling accessories for any cyclist, whether they're travelling by road or on a mountain bike trail. Although ladies cycle helmets were once quite limited in terms of style, structure and colours, these days the choices are seemingly endless. We stock a wide range of womens cycle helmets, all of which have varying designs and features, to suit different cycling situations.

The road helmet is a popular choice for many, as it offers all of the basic support needed for everyday cycling along paths, as well as road races. These helmets are slightly elongated, as this allows for better aerodynamics. They are also well ventilated to keep the cyclist cool in the heat and fit snugly on the head. Our ladies bike helmets often come in a selection of sizes, so make sure to measure your head before purchase.

The mountain bike helmets are another option, which are similar to road helmets, but slightly more durable. These helmets have a visor attached to the front, which offers protection against dirt splashes, rain and wind when cycling along a trail. They're well suited to downhill cycling too.

We also have time trial helmets available; these are uniquely designed head pieces which allow the cyclist to go that much faster. They tend to have less ventilation than standard road helmets, as well as a teardrop structure which reduces the chance of the wind slowing you down. The time trial helmets are especially useful when racing.
